I have always been drawn to people and strongly believe in the power of community. Through family, friends, mentors and as a counselor, I have experienced the joy and power of walking with and learning from others. It is my sincere hope to walk alongside of you and help you discover your inner strength.

I strongly believe in the inherent dignity, and capability of each and every client I have the privilege of working with. My goal is to provide a safe environment where clients feel understood, accepted, and are able to grow. As a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor, I help children, teens, adults, and families work through a wide array of issues.

I have a passion for working with children and creating an environment in which they can grow and thrive. I am trained in Child- Centered Play Therapy and Child-Parent Relationship Training. I am committed to providing the most informed care and am in the process of becoming a Registered Play Therapist. I am passionate about working with teens and adults navigating life transitions, depression, anxiety, trauma as well as other presenting concerns. When working with teens and adults, I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), as well as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR). I also utilize EMDR with children.

My education includes a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from The University of North Carolina at Charlotte, a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. Through the use of evidenced- based practices, I believe in the importance of collaborating with clients to reach your goals. I look forward to hearing from you, and the opportunity to walk alongside you as you take this important step.
