The relationships in our lives can be some of the most challenging and most rewarding experiences we have. When those relationships encounter a  challenging phase, I believe it is important to strengthen these relationships. When working with individual clients, I believe to combat things such as depression and anxiety we must focus on that individual’s experiences with others. When working with couples, I believe helping the couple reach a common ground and to better understand each other’s point of view.  As a Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, I specialize in working with couples and those dealing with sexual issues. I believe that through the building of our client and therapist relationship we can begin to improve the relationships in your personal life or in the life you share with your significant other.

I began working towards the goal of becoming a counselor at Saint Bonaventure University, receiving a Bachelor’s degree in psychology. I continued on to my Master’s program at the University of Texas at Tyler receiving my degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling. I then continued on to become a National Certified Counselor and a Licensed Professional Counselor in the state of North Carolina. Through these training experiences, I have worked with couples dealing with financial, sexual, parenting differences, and many other issues. As well as having worked with individuals whom have struggled with depression, anxiety, schizophrenia, addiction, bipolar, and personality disorders.

I strongly believe that by working together we can work through the difficult period in your life to better your relationships and quality of life.
